R.S.E., Collective Worship and Mass
From September 2022 we have introduced our R.S.E. (Relationships and Sex Education) programme called ‘Life to the Full’ from Ten:Ten. We use this resource to plan and provide lessons from Nursery to Year 6. Families may access the ‘Parents Guide’ to learn more about the programme and staff will have training in line with all other Catholic schools in the Wrexham Diocese during October 2022.
Our weekly timetable includes a detailed programme of Collective Worship. Our celebrations may be as a class, a group of classes or as a whole school. The theme of our Collective Worship is often led by our R.E.V.E. (Religious Education, Values and Ethics) topic or an aspect of the liturgical year. We have Mass in school regularly and this may be for a class and prepared by the class, on a rota system, or as a whole school Mass at the start or end of term or for a special celebration.
We join with Sunday Mass at Our Lady Star of the Sea, Llandudno and Most Holy Family, Llandudno every month and all are welcome at these Masses.
